Drew and his team are the entire counter-offensive plan against the Naga. The mana shield over the stadium was supposed to solve every one of their problems. The Naga disagreed, and their frequent skirmishes are ramping up into a constant drain on resources. Drew’s only possible response to the humans, the aliens, and the strange, urban jungle appearing across the Potomac is to increase the count of his own red nodes and build up his strength; all in a race to save humanity.
As tensions rise, Drew wonders more and more if he can solve everything with a well-placed fireball.

A bud of mine just dropped off all 3 books for me to listen to and, seen we didn’t have book 3 up here. Never heard of the series but, from the first book, sounds good.

Yeah a bit long a wait honestly for what turned out to be (imo) a rather disappointing 3rd instalment.
From what I recall of books one and two they where far better than this one which I finished reading yesterday. Sorta wished I’d waited and gotten it here.

@monty2 is correct. xander boyce the author needs a 2nd experienced author story line arc editor and is obviously a woke USCG beta male cuck.
he has no idea how to write from a female emotional perspective or what drives woman to seek to procreate with just 8% of the hetero male population and ignore the other 92%. very stupid corny humor as well. not funny at all, just cringy.
fast forwarded all the dumb stuff. ruined the story immersion.
first 2 books were perfect. 3rd book…sux. killed the series.

Okay, so the first 2 books are great and, this one may not be so. I can say, the 1st book is solid though. We’ll see when I get to this one to give it a listen.
As for Invasion Book 2…..if I can’t trade for it, will use one of my credits to buy it since I got 2 months left on my yearly subscription and, then convert to up.

Another very good series.
Yes, books 1 and 2 were better but very good all the same. I listened to all 3 in a row.
Luke Daniels is Great as always.
Sound quality is good and fast download.
Well worth the listen.
