The narration is breathy and annoying though…

For breathy narration i up the reading speed. Not to chipmunk levels but 1.2x or 1.5x depending on how slow the narrator is. It is not always needed but it fixes the breathlessness of female romance narrators. It also makes the droning ones feel a little more alive.

Worst.. speaker ever. Honestly.. you are not on a horse race. The tempo is horrible, not be be corrected, and the up and down of the voice.. really makes it hard to follow the story. A complete newbie must have spoken this without any training!
