Read this on Royal road. The authors wife died from cancer while writing this one. If can buy the book. I’m sure there’s a lot of medical debt.

the overall story is interesting, I could honestly do with a lot less monologuing in the beginning of each book or from the character in general, but once each book gets rolling it tends to be more interesting and the world being created is very rich and detailed.
